Give Back Initiative
"It is part of my mission as an artist to give back to the local community, no matter how small it may be, so a portion of every sale I make, will be donated to causes that are near and dear to my heart." -Molly
2020 - Let's be honest, this year has thrown us all for a loop.
With COVID -19 times are challenging for everyone, so we want to spread our reach a little further this year. This is how we are giving back:
1. Artist Support Pledge
Basically, it works like this: we post artwork for sale ($200 or less, shipping not included) on our Instagram page. If you want it, you send us a direct message (DM) and pay with e-transfer. When we reach $1000 in sales, we will spend:$200 on a fellow artist. This helps keep many artists a float in this difficult time, ourselves included. Please note, the artwork available for this, will exclusively available through Instagram, so please follow us @goatandpebbleco
2. Black Lives Matter
What has happened, and continues to happen throughout North America is utterly heartbreaking. We will be donating $5 from every sale until the end of 2020 between the following organizations in an effort to support the Black Lives Matter movement:
Campaign Zero - Working towards ending police violence in America
Black Lives Matter Canada - The Canadian chapter of BLM
3. Dog Rescue
From March - early May, Phil and I took in a dog named Karla who needed a home. Sadly, she was not a fit for our family and thankfully, Kelly from PB & Chi/A Pack Dog Training was able to come in and give this beautiful pup a chance! It has been a very challenging time with isolation and pandemic, but having to say goodbye to this dog, was harder for us than we could have ever imagined. As a way of continuing to say thank you, we will be giving $5 from every painting sold to PB & Chi Rescue until the end of 2020.
*UPDATE: Karla has found her furever home, and is thriving in her new environment. We are so grateful to stay in touch with the beautiful family, and get updates regularly.
4. Mental Health
2019 we raised $200.00 to donate to mental health initiatives and will continue to add $ 5.00 with every Mini-Print for Mental Health print sold.
*We're still looking for a charity where the money will go directly to providing counseling services for people, so if you know of one, please let us know here.
2018 we were able to donate $315.00 between Critter Care and LAPS.
